Seasol Super Soil Wetter and Conditioner

Episode: 6
Title: Seasol Super Soil Wetter and Conditioner
Broadcast: 10th October 2015
Presenter: Kim Syrus

You would think with all the winter rain that our gardens would be soaking, well that is always not the case. Not only have parts of Australia experienced below average rainfall, there are many places around the yard where even winter rain can find it difficult to reach.

  • Pots under eaves are often in a rain shadow and sometimes too heavy to lift out. Garden beds in those spots too are also prone to drying out.
  • The problem with dry or hydrophobic soils and potting mixes is they actually shed water and are difficult to rewet unless you apply a wetting agent which allows water to cling to the soil particles and retain valuable plant nutrients around the root zone.
  • Applying a wetting agent is one thing, however some products do more than just wet the soil. The Seasol Super Soil Wetter and Conditioner not only contains a soil wetter but Seasol Seaweed Plant tonic and a soil conditioner that promotes good soil structure.
  • It’s also safe around Australian native plants and as summer approaches, it is vital to give your soil a real wetting.
