Nigel has been visiting a lot of community gardens in recent years, as they continue to grow in popularity; today he’s at Hilton Harvest Community Garden, to see what they’re up to.

• Hilton Harvest Community Garden is located in the heart of Hilton in Perth, WA.
• It was started in 2009, and has since evolved into a thriving community garden with lots of enthusiastic members of all ages. Everyone is welcome to all of the special events, regardless of age, ability, or gardening skills.
• Students from the local primary school come here for classes, and tree planting days
• Nigel decides to gift them something they don’t already have: Seasol!
• Seaweed has been used for centuries, spread by farmers over their crops with excellent beneficial results.
• The magical properties of seaweed are also utilized in cosmetics, and many cuisines.
• Seasol advanced is a new formula that contains the original seasol, as well as a range of nutrients and trace elements for increased fruiting and flowering stimulation.
• Seasol is safe to use on all plants, including natives and edibles
• All good gardeners know that the soil is the backbone of a great garden, which is why adding compost is so important. While you may not be able to have these great big bins that they have here at the Hilton Community Garden, Seasol has managed to find a way to infuse their formula with a liquid compost, which improves soil structure and helps with the uptake of nutrients.
