Native plants are extremely tough and drought tolerant but giving them a little bit of a feed will help give them an extra boost after the cold winter months.

• Australian native plants dislike high levels of phosphorus in their food, as Australian soils lack high levels of phosphorus and our native flora has evolved to grow without it.
• When feeding your plants, it is important to use a fertiliser specially formulated just for them, such as the Troforte Native Plant Food. It comes with up to 60 natural minerals which are broken down by the microbes and made available for the plants, resulting in a stronger plant.
• This is a slow release fertiliser, so it will feed your plants for up to 6 months. Australian natives don’t like large bursts of nutrients in a short period of time, so this is perfect for them.
• 20 years of research have been poured into this product – it is environmentally friendly, river and reef safe.
• Apply a few scoops to the soil surface. You can rake it in if you want, and be sure to water it in. This can also be applied to potted plants.
• A little bit of tucker will keep your plants happy and healthier for much longer, and on top of this, they won’t require as much attention from you.
