Many problems arise in our gardens as a result of microscopic insects. The good news is you no longer need to spray harmful chemicals all over the garden to control them.

• Biological Services was the first commercial insectary to be established in Australia in 1971.
• They joined forces with Manchil IPM Services in Western Australia in 2014.
• Biological Services offer 16 different biocontrol agents for pests such as whiteflies, thrips, mites, aphids, fungus gnats, red scale and cabbage moth.
• The company consults with commercial industries on ways to control these pests in large crops.
• Co-Managing Director, Lachlan Chilman, says IPM-run produce have less chemical residue, making it safe and healthy to eat.
• Biological control agents are a great option for home gardeners or hobby growers and can be distributed by Dawson's Garden World.
