Trees have an incredible impact on both people and the planet. Sue discovers a group that’s changing the world one tree at a time.

• Trillion Trees is a not-for-profit organisation that brings people together to grow and plant trees.
• John Winter is the coordinator of the Trillion Trees Schools program, which has seen 2.5 million trees planted over the past 30 years.
• There are 23 schools involved in the program this year, half of which are secondary. The other half are primary.
• Two of these schools have grown over 1,000 trees, and they’re looking at planting them out into the community.
• After planting the trees, the students are taught how to care for them until they become mature.
