Linda takes us through the wonder of Gerbera’s as well as letting us in on a very special deal from Garden Express.

• These Gerbera collections from Garden Express are exquisite and they will be offering 20% saving’s on the collection and individual plants.
• Gerberas were bred using wild South African plants. The flower size is a little smaller than a normal gerbera, but they more than make up for that in quantity, the plants can exceed over 100 flowers a year! In warm zones they can even flower through winter.
• Gerberas are tough and will repeat flower for 6-12 months of the year, don’t have the disease and pest issues that the old varieties have, they can survive temperatures down to -5C, and come in a fantastic range of bright and beautiful colours and petal types.
• Gerberas grow well in the garden in a sunny spot in well drained soils and make excellent cut flowers.
• On arrival your Gerbera plants will be fine being left in the pot for up to a week- regular watering is essential.
• For planting out simply remove the pot from your Gerbera, leaving the Grow cell intact, and plant directly into the ground.
