Australia is home to some of the most outstanding Botanic Gardens in the world.
When you walk through the garden areas, where all the plants are labelled and curated to be both pleasing to the eye and educational.

  • What many of you don’t know is the vital role botanic gardens play in the scientific study of plants, ex situ conservation and physiology including the complex relationship our plants have with the climate.
  • Dr Wolfgang has dedicated his life to celebrating the diversity of WA ecosystems and has spent years researching plants that rock at kings park science.
  • The plants in horticulture research and scientific understanding is still at the embryo stage.
  • There are 3000 botanic gardens in the world, which protect 30% of all plant diversity and less than 50% of known threatened species.
