  • Comfrey is a valuable plant for gardeners with medicinal uses and nutrient-rich foliage.
  • Harvesting: Gather fresh leaves before or after flowering when foliage is richest in nutrients.
  • Preparation: Chop leaves to speed up decomposition process.
  • Fermentation: Place chopped leaves in a 5-liter bucket and fill with water, ferment for 3-4 weeks.
  • Result: Rich dark brown comfrey tea ready for use.
  • Dilution: Mix one part comfrey tea with ten parts water for application.
  • Application: Apply around the base of plants or as foliar spray.
  • Benefits: Nourishes plants and easy to grow in the garden. It also strengthens eggshells for chickens and provides rich nutrients for homemade fertilizer.
