Nigel is busy in the garden, trimming his lawn and finding ways to make it as easy as ever!
- The FSA 60 R is one of 12 tools in STIHL’s AK Battery System, and one of two grass trimmers in the range. The recommended battery for the HTA 50 is the AK 20.
- The three different cutting attachments can be used and exchanged with no tools required!
- The Additional heads that can be used are: DuroCut 5-2: Which takes pre-cut line and is for general grass trimming.
- PolyCut 6-2: Which takes the nylon blades and is for general grass trimming. The versatile mower head for mowing work around your garden featuring easy to replace poly cut blades rather than traditional line
- AutoCut C 6-2: The standard attachment, which allows for line to refill without disassembling the head. Mowing lines are automatically extended when the mowing head is tapped on the ground.
- It has a modern design and is capable of trimming up to 1,500m of lawn edge on a single charge* making it a great option for those larger home gardens.
- Featuring an ergonomic control handle with infinitely variable speed control, loop handle and robust aluminum shaft, it’s perfect for mowing around obstacles such as trees and bushes. It also features a wire bump guard to avoid any damage to said obstacles such as trees and fences.
- It has an AutoCut C 6-2 nylon line head. Alternatively, there is the PolyCut 6-2 mowing head with plastic blades is available as an accessory. Light-weight and well-balanced and also powerful.
- Best practice nylon tips and storage notes: Best stored away from direct sunlight, in a cool environment.
- Lengthening the line and a using a larger line than specified line slows the engine down and adds load to the engine. This increased load reduces cutting efficiency and run time on battery trimmers
- STIHL Connect The Smart Connector 1 can be attached to the housing at the designated position The tool data can be viewed/used within STIHL connected via the STIHL connected app and advise the user when the machine is due for service and maintenance just like your car. The app can also help you locate your local dealer and book in your service
