Microbiomes in Soil

Story: Microbiomes in Soil #5
Episode: 9
Presenter: Bonnie-Marie Hibbs
Air Date: 13th May

Bonnie takes advantage of the trees beginning to grow dormant to show us a few tricks on keeping her garden well fertilised year-round.

  • Troforte Fruit & Citrus fertiliser is a controlled release fertiliser that lasts up to 6 months per application. It contains multiple strains of beneficial soil microbes and minerals that help to revitalise and repair bad soils with every application.
  • With deciduous fruit trees beginning to grow dormant around this time of year, it’s the perfect time to prune the trees to encourage growth, control fruit bearing and rejuvenate the soil.
  • Troforte fertilisers are environmentally friendly, as well as river and reef safe. Fruit grown with Troforte will be nutrient packed because Troforte contains around 60 minerals that the beneficial microbes break down and make available to the fruit trees.
  • Make sure to water the feriliser in thoroughly to activate the microbes! Troforte helps to combat many plant diseases by forming a natural barrier. The beneficial soil microbes multiply and populate soils, driving out disease-causing bacteria.
  • The mineral and microbe combination will ensure that the fruit trees uptake of these nutrients of optimal, resulting in nutrient packed fruit and citrus!
