Trevor takes us on a tour of Helix Australia trial grounds where thousands of waxflowers are grown, just a few 100kms from the original species.

• Waxflowers love free draining soils in a spot with direct sunlight. They will handle the extreme heat and reward you late every spring with a stunning display of flowers that smother to the top of the plant.
• Don’t worry if you have heavy soils, this is one native that loves growing in pots. Use good potting mix and place in a sunny spot for great results.
