Autumn is the perfect time to feed and revitalise your garden. Sue shows us a wonderful Native plant that can be planted now to help attract new life to your garden.
- The genus Grevillea is one of the largest in Australia. Grevilleas are noted for their variation; some have large showy flowers, whilst others are grown for their foliage.
- Grevilleas are the plant of choice for nectar-feeding birds like Honey Eaters or Wattlebirds because of the rich nectar which gathers at the bottom of the perianth.
- Grevilleas don’t need a large area to grow in. Hence, they can be grown in a large pot or even a hanging basket.
- Grevilleas and other natives will benefit from the addition of fertiliser, to help feed and revitalise them before the winter months.
- Powerfeed all Purpose is safe for all plants including natives. It acts fast and is absorbed by the foliage quickly and can be used in all soil types.
- Powerfeed will improve Sandy Soils by improving water retention.
- In clay soils, the concentrated organic matter will help the soil to develop structure, so water will drain away.
