Cabot’s Aquadeck is a highly durable, low odour decking oil that is designed to provide exceptional durability to all exterior surfaces and lasts twice as long as traditional decking oils.

• The very important first step is to ensure your deck is clean of dust, wax, grease, tannins and oils before coating. Using a deck cleaner such as Cabot’s Deck Clean will also protect the timber and ensures the longevity of the decking oil.
• Cabot’s Aquadeck is water repellent, blocks out harmful UV rays preventing them from penetrating and damaging the surface while resisting colour fading.
• It is dirt and mould resistant as well as designed to provide exceptional durability to all exterior surfaces. It also lasts twice as long as traditional decking oils.
• Applying the oil is easy once you’re set up with the right gear such as Cabot’s Deck Hand. Apply the coating liberally along the entire length of the board and aim to coat 2 to 3 boards at a time.
• When oiling, it is important to start in one corner or end of the deck and work your way across it to ensure a safe exit as you can’t walk on freshly applied oil.
• With Aquadeck’s fast recoat technology, you will only have to wait 2 hours before applying the second coat.
