Grosorb
Episode: 4
Title: Grosorb
Broadcast: 26th September 2015
Presenter: Darren Seinor
A big issue for many gardeners is hydrophobic or water repellent soils, where water simply won’t soak into the soil but rather it pools on the surface or run offs and is ultimately wasted. An effective tool against water repellency and the associated water wastage is a good quality wetting agent.
- Wetting agents will break down the waxes and oils that cause the beading effect associated with this problem and allow the water to move through into the soil and the root zone of your plants where it is needed.
- Baileys’ Grosorb is a professional standard wetting agent made in WA for WA conditions. Baileys have been supplying and manufacturing quality products, specifically for WA conditions for four generations.
- It will correct water repellent (hydrophobic) soil conditions. Grosorb facilitates water absorption, even penetration and rewetting to eliminate run-off, surface pooling and water and nutrient loss.
- Quality product with proven longevity. Only need to apply twice a year.
- Assists root development and fertiliser efficiency by channeling water and nutrients into the root zone.
- Safe and easy to apply – it is non-toxic and slowly biodegradable and will not contaminate soil, waterways or living organisms.
- Baileys’ Grosorb is a Smart Approved and Waterwise approved product.
