Neville?s tip to help you fertilize your lawn:

A small amount of fertilizer is actually required and overdoing it creates problems for drainage system with excess nutrients getting into waterways.

When using a product like Yates Lush Lawn Master, then 20 grams per square metre is all you need.

A couple of simple tools to make your distribution more accurate is to fill 1/3 of a cup and practice sprinkling the granules evenly in a one metre square template, marked out with a hose.

This should get you on track for accurate distribution and then you can easily get underway with the rest of the lawn.
