Worst garden clean up

Story Title: Worst garden clean up
Episode 4:
WA's Great Gardens
Date: 24 October 2010
Presenter: Darren Seinor

If you've got a disaster backyard to clean up, moving sand, digging up plants and even lifting old bricks, then this has just gotten a whole lot easier. Darren shows us how to clean up the worst of gardens in no time.

Darren's Tips and Facts

  • The Auscat mini-loader will chew through work in no time, it's so well designed and comfortable to use, anyone can easily tackle the biggest job without having to worry about aching muscles and bones.
  • The Auscat comes with some great attachments, like a rotary hoe, which can be swapped and changed very easily via its clever universal quick hitch plate. Having a range of attachments on one machine saves time and money!
  • Similar machines can cost up to 35 grand which for a lot of tradies, means you need to be using them every day or they're costing you money, but with the Auscat going for 15 grand plus tax you only need it to be out on site a couple of times a week to be making you money and for those of us with big gardens this type of machine is suddenly a real option.
  • Landscapers don't always work in areas with soft sand so it's great to know the Auscat has an American built 21 horse power V-Twin engine, that's some serious grunt and I know this very machine has not only been operated at Trevor's house, in amongst the clay and the rocks, it was operated by Trevor, and is still working at 100%, that's one tough machine!
