Fresh tips from the markets

  • Eggs are a super food, as they are high in protein, and low in fat and kilojoules.
  • They are rich in vitamins containing ALL vitamins except Vitamin C.
  • It is also thought that eggs could help treat acne as they lower the glycaemic load of the diet.
  • Eggs are best kept refrigerated in cartons.
  • Eggs are versatile as they can be eaten in so many different forms, used in cooking many dishes or simply just enjoy boiled on its own.
